Margalena Lepore, Arlaine Morrision, Arnold German, and Patricia Hahn celebrate anything water in this exhibit that pays tribute to our most precious resource. The exhibit will run through the dates July 1-29 with a reception evening on July 8, 5-7 pm, hosted by Water and Sewer Authority who will bring goodies and family activities to the front lawn of the CAC.
Douglasville Police Department is having a Domestic Violence Awareness Town Hall Meeting at the Police Department Community Room located at 2083 Fairburn Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135. We will be discussing domestic violence awareness, the issue of domestic violence, making anonymous calls to report at the first signs of violence, how law enforcement responds and what we do, court follow-up, as well as victim support. We hope you will come out and join us for this in-person event.
We will be working in conjunction with S.H.A.R.E. House, the Douglas County Domestic Violence Task Force, the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office, and Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Light refreshments will be served.
Tiny Fundraiser Exhibit and Nights!
This Summer you can exhibit your artwork in the CAC’s Tiny Fundraiser. Gain notoriety as a donor artist and come enjoy mini receptions on Thursdays, July 8, 15, 22, August 5, 12, 19. Deliver your 6×6 artwork by the end of June to have your work hung in the gallery and sold to support the arts where you live. Then come out for vendors, fun, raffles, and treats on the reception nights, as well as to purchase 6×6 artwork for $20 to support the arts. Bring your art, build your collection!
